We opened it because we couldn’t find the place we were looking for — so we built it.

I’m Jason Mendieta, a former U.S. Army Infantryman. City Armory was founded alongside my friend and co-founder, Matthew Stutzman — a lifelong firearms enthusiast with a sharp eye for quality gear. We come from different backgrounds, but we care about the same things: clean work, real service, and gear that performs when it matters.

City Armory isn’t a warehouse. It’s not a big-box store with rows of dusty inventory and no one to answer your questions.

This is a shop for people who care about what they carry. You get clear answers, quality service, and the kind of support that comes from people who know what they’re doing.

When we say we do things right, here’s what we mean:

We take time with the first-time buyer. We don’t rush the conversation.
If something isn’t worth your money, we’ll tell you and explain why.
We build rifles like we’re handing them to our own family.
We don’t send a Cerakote job out our door without it being right.

We built City Armory around the pursuit of Security, Sport & Leisure.
